Last night the GD came over after she had her hair done, she was hoping to take out some of the wildness, no luck. Anyway it still looks good. We made a plan to shoot today so she spent the night and after a Papa breakfast, Isaac Newton omelets. I put in fried apples, cheddar cheese, last lights Berger, and sweep peppers, With homemade hash browns and homemade bread toast. We loaded up the deer target and a dozen clay pigeons, and off to our shooting spot. NO wind we decided to really stretch it out today and I put the target at 220 yards, and 5 pigeons at 100 held up by sticks we found. She shot 5 Prone and 5 off sticks, as fast as she could cycle the action. Then took out the clays prone 1,2,3,4,5. Out we go to get the target and see how she did. FINALY all 10 where just behind the shoulder and about a 5" group. OUT FRIGING STANDING!!! Back at the truck we set out the other 7 pigeons at 13 to 15 yards. With my little Phenix arms semi auto 22. She killed them with the first clip of 10. I have a orange rubber shooting thing we shoot at and dusted off another 3 clips of ten, on it. WAY more hits then not. What a fun morning, she was pumped. THEN on the way home she drove the big red truck most the way. Boy it won't be long and she will be all grown up taking me out shooting........ Edited by d4570 - 26 September 2021 at 13:23 |

sounds great at 220 yards also.
Soon she will be teaching GDad! Still cute, even if the "hair day" thing didn't go good.
