Always liked remington M700s rifles and 870 wingmaster shotguns.  Unfortunately investers an anti-gun law suits drove them bankrupt.  Sold off out of bankrupcy.

But where are they?  Will they ever return???

Besides just a general curiousity, I bought a new rifle two years ago, just before they closed.  It has a defective main/firingpin spring.  Fired 7 shots and it died.  No other source is available; and e-mail and phone calls to Remington are dead-ends.

That makes me wonder if the plant is up and running making Remington firearms?

I would think that if Roundhill group bought it they would at least have plans to get it up and running.

And as a side note. The lawsuit is BS.

Sure BS.  But they have spent millions to defend it; money that could have gone into new designs, custome service, or promotion of shooting sports.  We lose and it pulls Remington into financial disaster.

If it gets to a jury, then rem will be held liable, must then appeal.  just like the plot to destroy the NRA by suits and legal expenses.  It cost big money and executive time just to win.  The antis are destroyers by making guns, hunting, etc expensive by law suits.  it is their plan.

Very true Bear.

One step at a time. I hope my grandkids are able to hunt and shoot when they have kids to take.
