Seems the Poly-choke company went out of business about 3-4 years ago.

anyone know if there is somebody still mounting them for people.  A great device.

It would be interesting to see if you could find any new old stock Polychokes.

How do they attach to the barrel? I have seen them but never looked that close at them.

I have noticed that the shotguns that have them on the used racks are usually really reasonably priced. I assume people don't like the looks?

Yea, the bulbus 'look' scares people.  But if you are properly shooting a shotgun, it is zero problem.  Concerns people that shoot a shotgun like a rifle, dah.

Great device, better than screw in chole tubes, as it is instanteously adjustable.  Good for duck hunting as I start with an open choke for morning birds that come in fast and close, then instanteously chaange to tighter choke setting as the sun comes up, birds are usually further off and leary.

Except for turkeys, I have removed all front sights from my shotguns.

That's good to know. I'll start looking closer at them on used racks. I really think that might be a good option for finding a good deal on a shot gun.
