May be a solution!
The three of us could share.
Use our own guns, at night we found it's hard to call, spotlight and shoot. But with this we could all take a turn at called in dogs...
This may be a game changer for sure.ClapClapClap
I'm guessing if we get round two Covid $$$ I'll stimulate the economy and get one like this.Big smile

Looks interesting.  I hate shooting at 'eye' during  the night.

I've hunted with gen 3 IR, ok but require an 'illuminator', and use thermal.  IR scopes can burn our, even pointing them at the moon.  thermal is better, no illumination needed; work on moon less nights.

Prices are still high.

wonder it in conjunction, would a lighted reticle also help???

We can't use them for any kind of "Game" hunting.
If a person split the cost two ways it is about the same as Night vision in price.
You have to line up the crosshairs with your day scope.
They say you can use it as a monocular too, and find that evening bear you just shot....

For the last 7 years we have been able to hunt 1/2 hour after sunset....the best time.  Before that sunset meant STOP.

I find the last 10 minutes often too dark, even with a large 50mm and  30 mm tube.

I could think that getting to blind 2 hourd before sunset lets you intrustion and scent settle down, and then gives you a great evening hunt.

No type of night vision of even a laser beam is legal here, no silencers either.  doesn't matter to me...just getting out is the fun. still remember our snow 'ote hunts....good times for me.

Should be able to get a gen 1 or 2 ATN Thermal at half the cost of the newer gen 4's...heavier though.

Slightly less fuzzy. Size and weight is less then half of the early generations. Lets face it though, it's thermal. No way around fuzzy as heat dissipates at different rates away from it's source and will always have a somewhat blurred edge.
