Not a great crop this year for what ever reason and we had a GREAT crop of robins. I would usually leave them on the tree till September, but this year I had to race the birds. I did get about 12 pounds, as I was picking the robins where too.
I'm boiling them as we speak, first batch gave up a 1/2 gallon of juice, the second will make the same. After some apple or cheery juice added It should make close to 1 1/2 gal= 12 pints, of jelly. One day I'll try wine, I'm not a wine drinker but do like CC wine at times.Clap
