Not much there.
We did not see any Canadian coyotes Ah.
Kinda neat country all short grass prairie.
LOTA ground to cover and hunt Kinda daunting as to where to start and what to hunt.
WE called coyotes hard the first day little to no wind. Had to have made 15 sets at least.
Saw one coyote and had 2 others haller back but no shooting.
Had some fun with gophers with the 22 pistols.
We just camped when it got dark.
Next day we spent just looking around same as above but the wind was blowing harder so not a lot of calling, at this point no P dogs.
MUD!
Most all the roads would have HUGE mud puddle that stopped traffic, not that there was any but I just turned around and found a different road, all day like that.
We found a P dog town near dark so we camped there. Last day we shot for 6 1/2 hours and dead headed the 6 hours home.
All in all a fun trip I got to see land I have never seen.
Good times.

That looks a lot like the landscape around here. we maybe have a few more coolies. about the same amount of trees. like one per section.

I'm surprised you didn't see more coyotes.

Anyway, a trip like that is always a good trip.

I don't remember a tree???
On the milk river there are trees.
I was surprised at how few coyotes we encountered.
Even camping we did not hear any.

D, if that's Brush Lake we have hunted birds there everytime we go out. Seen a few yotes there, never seen a P-dog. Seen some good deer too, but never actually shot one there.

Hill
We did not make it that far east, Scobey was as far as we got.
To much land to cover in 3 days.
