30,32, or 36"?

I found the "Long Tom" was incredibly accurate with 2 3/4" rifled slugs. Put 3 in a 2 inch clover at a hundred with irons. Ex took it when I sent her packin….miss the gun!
...oh yeah! thats gonna hurt!

Mine is 36" full choke.
After steel shot over wintered it would turn in to steel slug the choke is now on the out side of the barrel.
out standing shooting foster 1 1/4 oz lead slugs.
I never changed the sight and bead.
I filed a v notch in the rear sight wedge.
Shot many a deer at 100 yards.
I would use it for coyotes and use my lead "F" dog loads but it's SOOOOO long it's hard to swing in a sitting position and my 870 can shoot a follow up shot way faster.

Had a 40"  Marlin goodse gun back in the '60s.  Really didn't shoot any tighter than my 870, full choke.  Sold it to a friend that loved that long barrel; he shot a lot of geese with it.

Also had an old bolt action Sears (aka Savage) shotgun, full choke, 28 inch.  I cut the barrel to 20" and put sime rifle sights on it.  It shot easily into a paper plate at 50 yards; used it for deer with 7/8 oz Foster/Remington.  good deer gun.  Sold it at gun show, fellow lover the sights.
