Hornady and RCBS are the only ones making them.
I was looking for Redding they will MAKE them for me but very $$$$$.
I can't see me loading more then 4 or 5 hundred in my lifetime so custom made dies are out.
Hornady and RCBS are very fine but the boy likes Redding the best for what ever reason.
Looks like it will be one of them both close in price depending where you get them and shipping.
I already shot 25 of my 100 I got with the gun, I have bullets to try after I get the Burris on and bedded.
If I get a late damage hunt for elk or deer I would love to try it out.
Maybe it will have to be on a WOLF !!!Big smile

I have mostly RCBS dies also. I have never had a problem with them. I also have a couple sets of Redding dies. I really can't tell a difference except the only time I have ever got a case stuck in a die it was a Redding die. It was probably caused by me not using enough case lube and not caused by the die.

I don't have any, but Reddings micrometer seating die looks pretty cool.

Redding are my favorite as well, but RCBS are a very close second.

Mostly RCBS dies over the years, most from the 1970's....lately now some Hornady dies and even have some pistol cal dies by Lee.
A couple sets of Herter's dies too but duplicates so rarely use them any more.

Hornady where the only ones in stoke when we got them. Reeding had some but where way more money.
If it was going to be a high volume gun I would have paid the difference.

Hornady use to be Pacific use to be Dietmeyer...good products.   I started with a dietmeyer press, just about when Pacific bought them.  My press had the name Dietmeyer in the casting, then a paper sticker with Pacific written on it.   Their Custom grade dies are same reliable design as RCBS.   I like the carbide expander button.   their Match grade dies have interchangeable neck bushing, I'd like to try them.
