Calling to day was not a gimme.
Hot , lots of bugs , and a wind that would not cooperate.
BUT
We pulled off a double on one stand 10 minutes apart.
NICE I got one at close to 300 yards and the boy and the Grendel
got one running in at around 25 feet.

Funny how I'm reluctant to walk 300 yards as the crow fly's , more like a 1/2 mile in ups and down for summer dog pictures.

I'm going to try again in the morning.

Fast trip out this morning.
Up north near the "Front"
Did 6 sets , I was picking up and starting to leave the 7th.
Looked one last look and dang two dogs standing on a fence line.
They must have seen me moving around they where about ready to bolt.
Set up the sticks ,plopped my butt down on my foam pad and took a quick shot. This was a very LOOOOONG shot.
I hit the fence post the coyote was standing behind, dang.
I cant hit a tee post when I'm 50 yards a way.
Back home , going to try another fast/ early one tomorrow.
