I reload for 40+ cartridges.
The cost of bullets seem to be constantly rising. Is any bullet worth $1 or more???????? any worth 50 cents each????????

BUT I paid it, So I guess they are to me: $1.20 ea for 0.366 286 gr NPTs $1.43 ea for 0.458 450 gr Swift-As $1.82 ea for 0.458 450 gr Barnes Banded Solids Because of the cost per bullet, I did the initial worked up for reloads with 30¢ C&C bullets.

Those big sabot's are 2.49 each...just the projectile. 1100 gr. black tip AP's are about a buck and a half each pulled. 25mm projectiles are hanging in right about 40 bucks each off a lathe, loaded are around 120 bucks a round.

D-I-L shoots a WYB 338/378.
TTSX Barnes 225 bullets . $8.75 each if she bought them. They reload but even that it is still 45% of that.... It takes close to an oz of powder $4 a brass and the bullet, about a buck. Not a lot of prairie dogging whit that one.

I load for @40 different rifle rounds as well. I don't think about the cost honestly. It is still WAY cheaper than buying loaded ammo. The nature of a handloader is to be a bit of a hoarder (guilty) so you (me) tend to go overboard with how many components, gadgets and tools you need (want). With a little shopping around various website and forums you can find some deals on components. Besides, it's only money...can't take it with ya!!
