If you get to Tennessee it is worth a few hours to drive the
Natchez Trace Parkway. It is a slow winding drive thru beautiful country. It runs the ridgelines, so you can drive it or hike it easily (bicycle). Lots of history, from Indian travels to a
Lweis and Clark connection (Merriweather Lewis was killed there and is buried there). The Trace's use was a major factor contributing to the
