Sometime at MYGAWDS I thought I saw somwonw shooting a Ruger 204 at PDs.

It was windy, 30+, that day.  Just wondering how the 20 cal worked in the wind?

At that velocity and with a light bullet seems that hits would all be helicopter kills.

we need a report.

You do know a 204 has "Better" ballistics , drop, windage, then a 22/250 up to about a 40 gr bullet, right ?

IBD and I both shot 204 Ruger rifles at the PD shoot prior to MYGAWDS.  They worked well.  Generally just a full body hit will result in a helicopter.  My rifle had a yardage turret which worked well.  Allowing for wind is always a guess.  I was using 32 grain Varmageddon bullets at 3947 fps.

The recoil or lack thereof of the Ruger .204 round allows the shooter to see the "hit" in the 'scope...nearly all the time....great advantage with which to observe the "helicopter" results of a good hit....or even just taking out the eye...either right or left eye your choice!Wink
