about 20 years ago I started deer hunting in the southeast, it quickly expanded into a family hunt with my brothers. Over the years it further expanded into extended family and a few friends.
It is more like a shoot than a hunt and I dropped out about 8 years ago...just shooting deer is no fun for me. This year the 3 day hunt produced 15 bucks and 4 does. Going to help butcher some today, get a few pounds of venison.

It sounds like it started out being a good hunt.
I understand about shooting rather than hunting. At least you get some meat. Wing master
