Interesting map of rifle ranges. It is set for
Pennsylvania, but all states available.

Looking at PA, no wonder Obama said we were a state of
gun owners and bible totters. And after being insulted,
they voted for him?

Since when is being called either a gun owner or bible totter, an insult? However voting for Obama, does bring, lack of common sense, into discussion.

Looks like PA has one formal range per 48K population, MT has one formal range per 15K population, seems like your ranges must be huge, have long lines, be only place to shoot, or be used by smaller percentage of population?

Interesting site.

I guess this is a work in progress. Their is at least
three local ranges that are not on the map. I see their is
a place to suggest new additions to the map.

It looks like their is a lot of ranges in PA.

Interesting..nice post....it is missing one shooting
range here in northern WI....the "Ashland-Bayfield
County Range" just a few miles south of the big
lake...Lake Superior. But it has quite a few listed.
There may not be an "address" for the range I listed as
not on the map, it is located in a remote part of
Bayfield County forest lands.

Yes this lists only the 'club ranges'. In Pennsylvania
we have hundreds of public land ranges that are not list
on the map.

I believe the compilation is from members of the ranges,
so some will be missing. But it does help find a range
near you or where you might visit.
