I have installed a new trigger on my MYGAWDS gun. Bought a
couple extra magazines. Checked the scope for zero. And dug
out some .22 ammo.

Other than packing a suit case I think I am ready to go.

Is anyone else getting ready?

Wing;

So what's the MYGAWDS gun?

I've yet to check zero on mine, the weather & wind have
been crummy even though the snow's off the range.

You got it IBD. It is a 10-22. Good memory.

I put a BX Trigger in it. While I had it apart, I cleaned
it up and put a little oil on it.

The BX Trigger isn't the best I have ever felt it could be
a little crisper, but it is a whole heck of a lot better
than the original one.

Is their going to be a reason to bring a gun that's better
suited to shoot bigger things such as coyotes?

34 days, 10 hours, 16 minutes, and 21 seconds to kickoff.

But who's counting?

Still haven't decided on the CZ 452 FS or old reliable
'Blondie" my 10-22.

Took both to the range for sight in.

Thinking on at 60 yards gives me the best gopher
trajectory. thoughts on sight-in distance?

The sight in range isn't as important as knowing where you hit up close
at 10-15 yards or so. When they have just their head sticking out of the
hole and you see one beady little eye the tendency is to hit low due to
the scope being higher than the bore axis.

I'm sighted at 35 and don't have to hold over until around 90.
