I just can't think it's my expert calling technique.
Calling coyotes has been slow to say the least.
Last 3 times we have not seen or herd a coyote.
We have done a night/wee hours of the morning with lights and nothing, we see sign all over.
I( just did a trip Sunday in to our Honey hole only to be completely humiliated. Lots of miles driving , lots of miles of walking Hours and hours of sitting on sets
to no avail.
I don't suppose I flat out killed them all or they all just packed up and moved to Minnesota...

D;

I'd think we're still good on the neighbor ranch just
across the road here. Let me know if you want to try that,
'cause I'm pretty sure they haven't gone any too far.

I think Bear wants to do a little calling before the MYGAWDS 2017.
I told him we would do some. Your neighbors place could be a very good spot to try...
PS
How's the snow/mud?

They use hounds here in Minnesota. A pickup posts on each side of a
mile square section then one guy and a dog or two goes walking
through the middle. The other trucks watch with spotting scopes. They
also have fresh dogs. I've heard of them running 7-8 miles before
getting shot or caught by the dogs.

Not my thing. But that's how they do it around here. Calling just doesn't
work like out there.

D;

Snow is mostly melted & not very muddy either. The wind's
been blowin' & dried things up.
