As an easterner, I just got back from a January Mt 'ote
hunt. Two of us were not locals, so packing was a chore. But I must say, clothing was very important; cold temps, wind and nighttime are were part of the trip. I took a heavy bag and used all the clothes except a pair of shorts. I was comfortable all the time, never broke into my hand warmers, no need to. Gloves (two pair) and face masks along with ski googles and sunglasses were all important. |
