Made elk stew yesterday.
Not going to give a recipe for the stew...we all have our own favorites , potatoes, tomatoes, onion, carrots, etc. But I do add some seasonings that most don't. half a handful of shredded coconut, 3 crushed cloves, and 1/4 teas of ground ginger (fresh if you have it). Just adds a nice extra flavor. |

HUMM?
I'm not a fan of elk anything, but in stew anything can taste good. The D-I-L did a Moose roast then some stew they where very good. Edited by d4570 |
