Boy oh boy, I was unaware of how dangerous our deer were.
All those sharp pointed creatures running amock and all.
We need to do something about this!

Be careful what you decide to not like. Your wife may wear one. Your son may ride one. Your daughter may bring one home. You may have to have one someday.

Fella's;

Oh, you haven't really been surprised till you've been
goosed right up the poop chute by 4-point buck.

I went out to a rural place & got there maybe around
10:00PM one night to open a vehicle. I parked, the owner
came out of his house, turned on the yard light & pointed
out the S-10 Blazer that needed opening. I went over
with my tools & as I bent over to get started, I heard
him say "John NO! Just as I got goosed. This got
my attention.

I dropped my tools, & turned around to see a 4 point
muley buck, about the size of a large German Shepherd
dog, just behind me. The guy apologized & explained.

Somebody out north of Belt had found the runt & took him
in for a pet. For whatever reason they took him to the
vet, who by law had to notify the Fame & Gish, which was
done. The F&G confiscated the thing & relocated it to
the Hardy Creek area, which is south of Cascade on the
way to Helena. The deer then immediately proceeded to
the nearest green lawn it could find, this guy's. He
named it John Deer, of course.

I opened the car, didn't wring the little booger's neck,
& got a pretty good story out of it. But let me tell
you, I'm glad he wasn't any bigger than he was either.
