BEAR;

Depends on the range your going to introduce them to mortality at. Opinions vary, mostly because of range factors. Personally, the Hornady Varmint Express #4 buck sounds good as an all-purpose 2.75" factory round. Twenty-four pellets at a nominal 1350 fps. Pellet size for #4 is about a quarter-inch, or 6mm.

where I'm hunting it is close range. I could see a dog at 75 yards but to much brush, until he gets to about 35 yards. so buckshot is the way i'm thinking.

Best factory coyote shell

This is as good as any thing I can load.
I would HIGHLY recommend it to any one. The "Dead coyote" brand is very good too but two to three times more money...

In my reloads I use lead "F" shot and 1 1/2 oz. 3" . If I by them I use hornady "BB" 3 ",Both I find with a really tight choke ( .669) out of my 870 is very lethal out over 60 yards
