Fella's;

When are you going to start making the model 70 with a left hand action? Why are you willing to ignore 10% of your available market?

We know it's possible, USRAC was able to do it in New Haven. We also know that with modern computers & CNC machining, it's not even that difficult or expensive to get done. So, after having had several years to get your ducks in a row in the new state-of-the-art plant, why hasn't it been done?

While I'm at it, please don't give us lefties the same old, boring, standard calibers; .243, .270, .30-06, and .300 Winchester magnum. Here's an excellent chance to enhance market share with creative thinking rather than the expense of designing a "new" cartridge that's only marginally different than six others on the market. Give me a 6mm Remington, a 6.5 Swede, a .280 Remington, a .300 H&H (OK that's pushin' it), or a .338 Winchester magnum instead. Existing calibers now available, but new to a large market segment that's been deprived of anything but the same-ole same-ole.

You've been doing some very nice things, and here's a chance to do some more at minimal expense.

Did you send this to their customer service department? I am always sending messages to companies. Sometimes they come back with a good answer sometimes they really piss me off.

Its worth a shot.

Wing;

I've gone to the Winchester site & cannot find either an e-mail or snail addy.  They say call us.  I may do that tomorrow & ask for a mailing address, but somehow I think I'll get an auto-tree answering service & get frustrated instead of information.

Ursus, the Winchester firearms name is currently leased to Fabrique National of Belgium by Olin who actually owns the name.

And Foo has been known to do many strange, even eerie, things & we won't go there.

I like your line of reasoning there 900F.....Ruger does offer it's newest line of the "American" rifle in a LH version most likely tho in the standard list of calibers you ran off.  They also just came out with an ad for a .22LR based on the American design sort of....maybe that will come forth in LH also, maybe.  Don't know any specifics about either rifle.
