Got back from the range this morning and the result is acceptable I
think. The rifle is a Remington 700 classic, bone stock, with a leupold 3-9 x 50. The load will be: win. case, CCI 200 primers, 44.4 gr of Viht. N- 160, Berger 140gr VLD Hunting seated at .010 off the lands. I'll post a pic of the target later, but it gave me a 0.754 five shot group at 100 yards. |

opps. I forgot to ask if you intend to use the VLd Berger on game??? I thought of it and declined for game in my 260 Rem. |

From bottom left going clockwise are 44.0, 44.2, 44.4, and 44.6 grain charges. The middle group are what I had left from before I went into the ARMY. |

upper right seems to be the smallest group....if that is consistent you should have a good load right there....certainly MOG..... minute of gopher...
