Need help to identify the manufacturer of this knife.  It is rather old, maybe back to the 1950's even, got it from a fellow who was 90 this year.

makers info is on the blue card in pic

RH then in an oval is PAL & under oval is "made in USA" - 36

oal length is 11"
blade is 6 1/8" lg
handle is stacked leather "washers" with white/red/white "washers" at each end with and aluminum cap.

ANY IDEAS???????

found some info by searching and is it a WWII issue knife by the PAL knife company.
