I went out to Power Monday and shot the new 52 gr Matchkings loads. The round color target is the control -50 gr blitzeking which is what I have it sighted in with. All shot off the bench with my bag at 100 yards. I took about 5 minuets between test shot groups but the barrel got quite hot before I was finished, it didn't seam to make any difference, in fact the best group was the ninth set??? Any way here is the best three loads, if you notice the POI is almost the same in all 12 of the 3 shot groups, you can tell there was a breeze. The shotgun patterns are the duplex loads I'm trying ,at 47 yards. 1 1/8 oz #2XBB steel, over 32gr and 35 gr of steel powder, and an improved choke out of the 870. Both shot about the same-very well.the 35 gr of "steel" powder, shells had a lot more recoil but the speed should be about 200 fps faster which means more speed out at 50 yards plus. The bunny was in the grass hiding the whole time I was shooting, I through rock and hit it in the butt before I left.

I don't have any way to check speed but the 37 gr of Varget should be pushing the 52 gr very near 3800 fps, the 33 load is more like 3500 ish
