I'm not going to put the boat away yet!!!

The sun is shinning the lake is still open. I just can't bring my self to let her hibernate yet.
In the past we have had a New Years day boat ride. Once on Tiber and last year we went to Carter and plunked in to the Missouri, and it was only 2*.If Holter is open by Easter we do an easter cruse too.
Thats only 3 months of "NO" boat.

You know your a Montanan; If you need tire chains to launch your boat.

I put mine away in the underground mine 10 days ago.  Always sad.  It is also usually a beautiful  sunny day  when I tow it 6o miles into its mountain home along the Allegheny river (scenic area).

I always think of one last spin as the ramp it only 1/4 miles from the mine entrance.  But once I drain the fluids and fog the engine, it has to wait till next year.  My boat always looks perfect when it goes into the mine.

This year they make you drain your fuel to 1/4 tank or less....insurance regulation.
