How is the grass lookin up in those mountains?  We been gettin plenty of rain down here in the flat lands.  Hopefully, the dry spell is over and habitat will perk up a bit.  Plus ya might not have to import hay this year.

Been a wet spring.  Fergive my half-empty perspective, but they say thet the wet spring will cause a higher calf survival rate, only for them to starve next winter if the drought continues an' ruins the forage that takes 'em thru the winter.  Best to pray we git plenty of monsoon activity durin' the summer.

If it's get any drier from the drought, we will have to build an ark.The grass is + 2ft in the mountains. I have been running 3 hd of mule on about 3 acres and they can't keep up with it. Raining every day a here at 7700 ft.
