The latest AMERICAN RIFLEMAN has just about the best article I have ever read on the riflemen of the Revolution. Really good stuff. Including about Tim Murphy, who might be the greatest rifleman America has ever raised. (I have a print of Tim, in a tree with his double barreled rifle, posted in my travel trailer to remind me always where we came from. The print is by the great outdoor artist Ned Smith who grew up not far from Tim's birthplace.)

Read this excellent article. It will make you feel good about who you are and where you came from.

And never forget Timothy Murphy, rifleman.
