I have to work over Christmas this year so I got my gifts early. The one in the picture isn't mine but I got one exactly the same with the case and 2-15rd mags, (9mm). Haven't got to play with it yet. I get home on the 27th. Just goes to show you Santa can screw up and give nice things to bad little boys too.

Santa was very good to You.

Well, maybe he is punishing you  a little not being able to play with it????   Is it a 40 or a 45???

Merry Christmas DD

I can't wait to get home! It's a 9mm. Don't know much about them. Anyone know how long the O-rings are supposed to last?

It looks like they gave you some "spares" already in the case.  I always question plastic/neoprene in weapons.  Too much a traditionalist I guess.  Really not hear any negatives on the o-ring seals.  I've had them on Remington 1100 auto shotguns and one seems to be the original (1964).

O-rings can be sensitive to fluids depending upon the material they are made with.  Think I'd avoid using anything except some water and a paper towel.

You might want to mic the rings so you could find another source if you are worried about long term availability.  I'd just buy a dozen and enjoy the shooting.

Merry

DD;

The Loki of picture-posting gods has taken his morning constitutional & flushed your picture.

Since I can't see what it is you got, I'm gonna take a flyer here (pun fully intended with malice aforethought) & make a supposition.

As O-rings were mentioned, could it possibly be an H&K Expert or Tactical full sized USP in 9mm?

It's an HK USP Elite 6.22" barrel.

My wife gave me some money to buy my own gift this year. She's tried to buy me gun stuff before but with little success. That look of awe and surprise when you open up a gift of socks, underware, or a Savage, you know what I mean? I had to kick in a couple hundred but they are on sale as HK has discontinued this model. It arrived at home yesterday so I haven't even seen it yet, can't wait.

I'm in Las Vegas going to Sacramento today so I'll probably be spending Christmas there. The gun is nice but I'd probably trade it for being home with the wife and kids.

Too far to invite you to dinner.  Hope you celebrate Christmas when you get home.  Not the same (I've had to do likewise) but still good.
