What time of the year do you generally start to hunt coyotes? I usually wait till Oct. so as the pelts are better. I get real serious in Dec. and Jan. I know that some don't care about fur but I hope that it will pay for some of the gas. Thanks, Dave

Alaska; I don't pay any attention to the time of year, I'm not pelt hunting, I'm into varmint control. We've got way too many coyotes to be fussy about anything but gettin' rid of as many as we can. We'd carpet bomb the bastards, but the U.S.A.F. rental rates on B52's are too rich for us poor folk trying to make a living in ag. 900F |

900, good luck on your varmint control exercises. If you start guiding over there could I get some references from satisfied clients and some from the disatisfied varmints Keep your head down and watch your back. Dave
