go for it Wing.  a man's life is only so long.

If it makes one happy....you need it.  Many times with a cigar and a vodka..I stare at my 9.3x6 and 416 mag...memories

I bought 4800 rounds of the practice rounds. that along with the 800 I bought to make sure they worked should almost shoot out the barrel of my Swede.

I have been eyeing a CZ 557 in 6.5X55 that has been on the rack at Rocky Mountain Sports for a couple of years. If it would have been a 550 I would already have it.

I'm thinking it would extend the life of my hunting rifle and make a great truck gun.

I almost have myself talked into getting it. It doesn't take much convincing.

When will it arrive? Waiting anxiously for a review!

Up for splitting a case of 6.5? I can't imagine using 4800 in my lifetime.

That is one of my bucket list guns.

I have found that when I see something I really am interested in I better jump on it as soon as I see it. I've lost out more than once because I waited.

Bear

I remember that rifle well. Amazingly accurate.

JSG

If you have any interest at all buy it. That's one I'd buy in a heartbeat if I saw one.

They don't make them (or imoport them I don't know which)but I'd be all over it.

I love it wing.  we shot it one time on PDs.  missed.  I forgot it was sighted in for a contest at 200 yards, so way over a 30 yard dog.

Cz are great rifles, unfortinately they have gone WAY out of sight on price.

I don't know how far a .22 LR projectile would go, but I can't think of a better thing to be doing than walking through the woods carrying a full stocked rifle looking for squirrels.

By the way Bear, You have the best looking .22 I've ever seen. If CZ hadn't have discontinued them it would be at the top of my list.

Ever been hit by a hail stone at 70 MPH wearing leathers? Lets just say, slowing down and finding a bridge or overpass to hide under is a great idea.

I think at max range, the bullet would only hit like a hail stone.
