Almost 600 employees at the Remington Arms plant in Ilion, New York, were told Friday that they would be terminated effective Monday, the local union said.

I've heard, Ruger bought the Marlin end of it. I can see a newer guide gun on the horizon in 375 and 458 Ruger. Could be wishful thinking though because we all know they will screw up the trigger!
