I use the 150 gr.

But Lyman lists  RX22 as the most accurate powder, for the 175 grain.  4831 is also listed a good.

I just dug my old 7RM out of the safe recently and tried a few loads in it. RL22 with a 160gr pill has been my go to for years. I tried  some old surplus 4831 with 150 and 160s and it drives tack with it. Mag primers, SAAMI OAL and let it eat. Winchester Model 70 Black Shadow, 24" tube, VX3i 3.5-10X40, bone stock rifle, never had the barreled action off the stock. I'll try some 175s just for grins, but as consistent as this rifle has been, I bet the results will be similar.

No surprise  the Winchester Model 70 Black Shadow, was made especially as a push feed to get the best accuracy.  Lots of SWAT teams used them.

I didn't know that Bear. I know sometimes they are mistaken for the cheap Walmart Mdl 70s that used to be sold there. This has the hinged floor magazine. It was the first new rifle I ever owned. Still smooth as silk. My FIL took it to Canada many years in a row for his annual moose hunt and took several moose with it. I have shot a few deer with it here at home, but is more gun than needed around here. Just dug it out a few weeks ago and knocked the dust off it. Honestly, there isn't a much better round for North American big game if we get right down to it. The finish is getting pretty wore on this, especially at the muzzle. Thinking about having it cerakoted once the coronapocolypse is past us.

This will be for in my new Win....? I think it's an SP? Something like that. Boy gave it to me last year and I haven't even fired it yet, so load build is on the schedule. Nice and light. Hope it shoots as well as my Savage 116 does. Nephew kinda borrowed it last year for deer and bear as well as my long barreled 870. I figure it as I gave them too him. He's close family and I don't care if he keeps them till he either finds something he likes better or til he can no longer get out and enjoy it. Just glad to help him get out and I have others. The new winny needs broken in and it's a lot lighter then the big SS Savage by far. Came with a nice Vortex scope so all I gotta do is find what it likes and feed it!

JSG, I don't have any experience with those, but if they're like any of the other new era entry level rifles, I'm sure it will shoot well.
