For me, It's my .243. It's a Sako Forrester L579. It will shoot 1/2 minute all day long every day. I have shot prairie dogs at 400 yards with it and even have a witness.
I have high hopes for my Swede and although I have shot a prairie dog at 450 yards with it I haven't shot the kind of groups with it that I have with the .243. I also have a member here as a witness to that shot. What is your most accurate gun Bear? Wing master

Got some good ones...BUT
clearly the 222 remington in the walnut Tikka T3 bolt action. Shot 5 shots , just horsing around, at 300 yards from bench. Not really trying, just emptying cases for reloading. all 5 were in a group smaller than a quarter. other cartridges that were super accurate for me 243, 308, 338, 9.3x62.

My brain hurts now....too many good ones over the years. Had a pre-64 300 that shot like Bears 222 Tikka, but the 1st ex got that one. Had some dandy Weatherby's , and even an awesome Savage 7mm mag.....Best had to be the Winny 52B. Same hole at 100 with 10 shots and it wouldn't even be ragged if I did my job right. I should never have let that one leave my abode.....ever.
Forgot, centerfire.....custom BDL in 22-250 imp. It was a true golfball gun at 400 and probably beyond. Not that I can shoot that well myself anymore without big glass and a good bench. I have neither at the moment to try. Edited by jsgbearpaws1 - 19 September 2018 at 10:35 |

I have several, that are fairly accurate. Of the current ones, either 22-250 or 204, both Savages. I ended up giving SIL, my most accurate one last year, 223 savage bolt. I gave him the choice of 223 or 204, he took 223 to go with grandson's 223. I shot into 2s and 3s, with both of them, I wanted grandsons to have accurate ones, to learn to shoot on.
