Even in August we can get stuck in the gumbo. Better to walk in at least, maybe... The good county roads AKA school buss runs and USAF maintained missile roads, should be passable. Grasping at straws and positive thinking. You do have a tow strap right ?

Anyone out that way carry a "handyman" Jack or as called locally a "farm" jack?????? Can be used to jack UP anything or as a short haul winch....limited to the length of the jack...most are 48"-60" tall or so.

Bear, Lizard, IBD
Can you be ready to go at like 4 am on Thursday ? Tom, Garou Can you meat Steve and I at the econo lodge down town at 4 AM? Its a two hour drive to RobertMTs camp, I think he will have breakfast ready around 6 am. I messaged TasunkaWitko and gave him the plan. I have not herd back from him yet but it's a shorter drive for him if the road is open over the Bears paw mountains. PS I may have a gopher spot on Public land for Friday...

IBD do you have a specific 'need' for a Hi-Jack??? or is this just concern for a stuck vehicle.
I got one but air shipping would be more than a new one at N90.

Went to the range today to check sights. 50 yards with the CZ 452 FS and Weaver Grand Slam, using Remington golden Bullet 36 gr hollow points.
10 shots measure .43 and were exactly 3/8" high. gophers look out! people often ask why I shoot those cheapo 525 round Remingtons? Well, I have a shoe box full of 22 LR ammo, maybe 15-20 different brands. when I get a new 22 RF I take all those brands and shoot a group with each brand. On my CZ nothing, including target ammo$$$, shot better than "the Golden Bullet". Some were equal, but none better. SO, I think I hit the lottery. My best shooting 22 LR loves the cheapest bullets around. And that HP really does cut the gophers in 2. Blonde, my former gopher princess, lover Blazers 22s, another cheap brand. Feels like I hit the Lottery twice. I believe that RF rifles, for what ever reason< favor one ammo brand or another.
