Sunday I got a call from my gunsmith. He wanted me to bring a few pieces of brass and a few of the bullets that I wanted to use out to his shop.

I got the bullets and brass together and headed out to his shop.

I got there just in time to watch him chamber my barrel. Then he torqued the barrel onto the action. I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I talked to him again monday morning and he said he had bedded the action into the stock and was waiting for it to cure. I let him talk me into adding a threaded on muzzle brake, so he still has that to do then cerecote the barreled action and I didn't ask, but I assume he has allready trued the action.

Then all that is left to do is reassemble and test fire.

I should get it back tomorrow.......Hopefully.

Since you have barrel threaded, you might as well start saving for a can.

It's going to be Burnt Bronze. I thought it looked pretty good with the stock color.

I am thinking the same thing about a suppressor. I kinda have been holding out waiting for the hearing protection act to pass. It sure would make it a lot easier to get one and I'm thinking cheaper.

You're right D. It's about damm time.
