Fella's;
Currently, at the mile-high King Family Ranch, it's snowing. About 1.5" overnight accumulation. It's tapering off at the moment, but it could be just catching it's breath & will dump. I don't know what it'll do for sure, it's always a guessing game. I did go to the official guessing game site & got a 10 day weather forecast. According to that, it'd be real good if the gun show is outstanding 'cause the weather's probably gonna suck. OTOH, anything can happen weather- wise and usually does. 900F |

Rain/Snow
OK it seems like it's time to review the itinerary. Thursday ; Mostly people arriving ??? Friday; Hunting someplace ? I'm free all day. Saturday; second day of hunting " someplace" I'm guessing? It's my Daughters Birthday and I HAVE to be home by 3:30 or 4:00. Sunday; Hunting? packing up getting people to the airport?? I work that night But I'm up for most anything . Can we fill in the gaps ? D |

They have a hard enough time predicting 12 hours in advance. Looks like it's supposed to be cloudy most of this week. They'll be ready to jump out of their holes when the sun pops out. DD |

Due to differing arrivals, Thursday is kinda catch-as- catch-can. Friday morning, probably the best idea is breakfast at the Celtic Cowboy, and we can do some planning then. Gun show starts at 3PM Friday & if the weather behaves as expected, that may be the high point of the day. We shall see. 900F |

Well, if Cyrus is the only one at the Arvon, maybe breakfast could be somewhere else. 2K's would be great, but the whole tribe would have to be there at 6:45. The place opens at 7:00 & is packed every morning. If we take up two booths, those who can legally pack should, as the regulars will get restless! The Missouri River Diner is also a possibility & we've eaten there before & nobody's complained. The eye candy is MUCH better at 2K's though. 900F |

What does one need to pack in MT?
Missouri River Dinner seems faster to me. But if it is snowing...speed isn't going to matter! Edited by BEAR |

Per current law, any incorporated municipality can require a person carrying concealed to have a valid permit to do so. Outside the city limits, open or concealed is legal for anybody. However, I'm not a lawyer nor have I played one on TV. Once we get rid of the present democratic governor, the state will likely go to constitutional carry. 900F |

https://dojmt.gov/enforcement/concealed-weapons/
Non-Residents Montana recognizes concealed weapons permits from some other states. Non-residents must meet the following criteria to carry a concealed weapon in Montana: The state that issued their permit must require a criminal records background check before issuing a permit. The permit must be in the holder’s possession. The permit holder must have photo identification. The Attorney General’s Office has determined that concealed weapons permits from the following states are recognized under Montana law: Alabama Alaska Arizona Arkansas California Colorado Connecticut Florida Georgia Idaho Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky Louisiana Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota Mississippi Missouri Nebraska Nevada New Jersey New Mexico New York North Carolina North Dakota Ohio Oklahoma Oregon Pennsylvania South Carolina South Dakota Tennessee Texas Utah Virginia Washington West Virginia Wisconsin Wyoming People who hold permits from the following states may not carry concealed weapons in Montana because their state laws do not expressly require background checks of permit applicants: Delaware District of Columbia Hawaii Maine New Hampshire Rhode Island Vermont does not issue concealed weapons permits |

Fri still looks like a snow day, but you may get a decent window on sat & sun, with a bit of breeze.

My weather shows 15 to 25 mph wind on Sunday.
I'm from Wyoming. I don't notice the wind until it's at least 40 mph. Wing master |

Slight change of plan. Cyrus is NOT going to be at
the Cowboy (wild dude he is). He will be staying with the rest of us at the 'Bunk House" Ponderosa. I think he is coming in thursday PM, he usually flies thru SLC. |
