We feed ours ,Imperial Whitetail Clover, Trophy Rock ,and we will be starting ,Goat mineral this year. Suppose to help antler growth. But this guy came from Kentucky, just north of us.

IBD;
It's not the feed, it's the fact that the family tree is a wreath. That, combined with the poor unsuspecting animals lapping up whatever odd substances drip from moonshine stills, accounts for the very obvious genetic drift. Speak to Luther-Cletus and Bubba-Bob, you'll soon find out it's not limited to the deer. 900F |

What a Christmas present! Kentucky in general has great deer. Spent a few days on Fort Knox one year. Went running in the am and saw a great 8 pointer. Later that day, saw two more wall hangers on the river banks a few miles away. Always wanted to get back there for a hunt.

I'e got some trophy mounts in my man cave, but not
whitetail even though I have bagged 108. Never got a rack I thought nice enough to mount. There would be no question in my mind that fellow is a wall ornament to me. |

Well guy's I got the whole story on this buck. It came from a place in Kentucky called, Wild forest Whitetail's . Cost him $8500 . Yep canned hunt,is what I call it. Not what I call hunting really. To each their own ,I guess. Bummer

Ruined my image. We have a place like that, a one time
it had the larges whitetail know. they sell genes to other states. Deer was called Goliath. Nice to see the monsters raised in well maintained small pens . But something uncomfortable about the thought of shooting one. |

That's me to Bear. I have more respect, for a hunter that goes out and hunts for his game, even if it isn't more than a little 6 point . We live in such and I want it now time,it's disgusting . They are ,(in my book) missing what it's really all about.

These things are not hunting trophies ... just shooting
memorabilia, sort of like bringing homt a target from the range. As the population increases, this might be the future of American hunting. saves time and money, just pick your animal on-line then go to a Disney-like caamp, and shoot the animal in the morning, home in the PM, and mounted trophy arrives by express mail the next day! |

Fella's;
That's not hunting, that's just licensed murder. And, I feel it's the type of thing that PETA & the ASPCA will get together on & use to curtail all types of hunting in this country if they can. 900F Edited by CB900F |

$8500 for a deer? So what that? Maybe $40 a pound? Can get beef tenderloin for a quarter of that. Bad enough it's not real hunting, but that seems like a real crappy use for $8 grand! |

The reason for the 2nd Amendment is so that we can keep all the others.

CB Actually, these hunts are powerful lobby, because
they have actually $$$ in the economy. Public landd hunting will go first, because it is public property use, and no one to say look at the $$$ to legislators. Look at all the elk hunting 'preserves' out west. More and more they are the face of elk hunting, even the Rocky Mountain Elk society see this. Thing how the outfitters have gotten tags, seasons, to fit the non- resident. money talks. |
