gun
with a bullet that's not subject to the wind is the
best
bet. High B/C in a walking varminter. I use the 6mm
Remington with a 75 grain V-Max for those reasons.
The
scope is only a 3-9 Loopy, but that gets the job done
at
any reasonable range.

I have been looking at a 6.5 CM. DO not have one
though. Have a TC Encore with 15" barrel handgun in a
243.

Bach;

If you're thinking about a cartridge that's highly accurate
for a broad range of uses, may I suggest going to the Tikka
website. Take a good long look at their offerings in 6.5
Swede.

The Kimber 84M select is a good rifle also. Got one
in 6.5-08. Shoots lights out sub MOA and weights a
mere 5.4 pounds.

6.5 in a reasonable capacity is a perfect "grab 'n
run" rifle-- Sweed, 260 Rem, 6.5 Creed. I like the
smaall acions and prefer the 260 Rem; Swed should be
in a slightly longer action.

I will be taking my Tikka Forest (wood) in 222 rem.
sub MOA. Over priced and some minor design flaws,
but she shoots.

First choice would be the Kimber, followed by the CZ
550 FS in 6.5x55 Swed.   http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-

I love Kimbers. I have an 84M Classic in 308 and a 8400
Montana in 300 WSM. I have a few in 22 LR as well. I
guess the 6.5 CM is going to be my favorite caliber.

Fella's;

It is supposed to be warming for the weekend! Hopefully
temps above zero at all times in G.F., & maybe even here.
I can live with 22 degrees above & things like that.

BEAR, what do you consider the design flaws to be with the
Tikka's? I have three & no problems with them other than
being owned by Beretta.

.....After shooting all of carried ammo at every available coyote in the great state of Montana, launching the burb at the last one running for the border was a good call?

Sorry to see so much damage to your vehicle. Musta been one hell of a yote you hit.

So, is it safe to say the coyotes won this year?
The reason for the 2nd Amendment is so that we can keep all the others.

I think you guys were using the wrong call? The Pratt & Whitney PT6's
lured this one into bow range. Lawrence, KS last weekend. 61*F almost
t-shit and shorts weather.

DD;

That post was as clear as mud. What are the pictures of?
The only thing I can come up with is that perhaps that's a
wooden propeller that hit a coyote. Then the question
becomes, at what altitude? Since you can find the damn
things in NYC's central park, I would not be greatly
surprised to find they can now fly.
