BEAR;

I believe the parent company is European, but all
manufacturing is Chinese as far as I know.

BEAR;

I'll have to dig the thing out of the morass in the back
of the truck, unpack it from it's bag, assemble it, and
check. I'll also check to see if the eye relief changes
with the power.

Update. I has dug & done research. The eye relief on
this scope remained constant at about 2.75". Checked by
both myself & my son. The scope itself is a Hawke
Varmint 3-12X44 SF, or Side Focus. It is Chinese.

yep, I understand 'busy'.

how long is the eye relief?

would you buy ome without the mil-dots?

This is for the 30-40 and a long eye relief will let me
use the mil safety.

I avoid cabela's for all stuff; overprice generic
equipment aka tasco in disguise!

BEAR;

I have one, a 3-12X with what they call a half mil-dot
reticle. It was just under $200.00 at the time I got it.
I thought it was a very fair deal for the money with good
glass. It's on a 10/22 take-down that I don't use very
much & part of the reason is because I think the reticle is
a little "busy" with the half dots. It's been a coupla
years since I got it & they may very well have changed
their line-up since then too.
