I got the hull peaces the other day.
I had to do a little "Fitting" But not to bad.
My plan is to have the "Corners" welded and I'll epoxy and rivet the three sections together.
YES we will be sitting in the "Cats" leaving the only thing on the deck the motor and prop.

Tip of the Rake to the stern is 11' 2"
and will be 7' 6" wide.

Remember: Four boxes keep us free ,the soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, AND the cartridge box

Yup.
About every 1 1/2 in a zigzag pattern.
I'm going to use 3/16 solid aluminum rivets when the epoxy is still workable.
About 350 of them for total both cats ,ish.

And 1 1/4 Inch angle aluminum on the bottom to stiffen it up. I'll run 1" al tubing around the top to hold the deck with supports to the bottom of the cats. That will also be epoxied and riveted

Got the hulls welded, and riveted the rakes on the front.
Starting to put tubing around the edges for strength .

I'll deck the whole thing with expanded Aluminum

   Power plant still no change

remember that the expanded Al while it is light, will
let snow and water in.

might want to leave a 2" hole in rear and front for a
hand operated bilge pump. Water inside is heavy.

The cats are 15" high, should be no worse then an open boat. I have some waterproof Camo Nylon I'll cover the cats kinda like a kayak.

I'm thinking one of these.
Pump/19767358?">

light weight and can be inserted in either hull thru a
2" hole. these ae what I've used on float planes to get
water out of pontoons (daily).

Link doesn't work.
It should not need to be drained every day .
I don't have to drain the Boys mud boat all the time only if it rains or a LOT of water over the top.
The only time I ever had water in the big boat was once when a pick up line for the live well/ wash down pump came apart.
I will have a normal bilge pump in each cat and a bung.

didn't know you had an electric bulge pump in each
pontoon, should be fine.

thinking of duck hunting and snow. it melts as soon as
it hits the floor/hull. I can get an inch or more in my
duck boat in just a few hours of morning snow.
