I just wanted to voice my opinion bout somethin for those
that may Conceal Carry. I have been usin a holster thats somewhat new on the market and I want to let anyone know that I really like it. They are from Alien Gear Holsters. I really do highly recommend them to anyone. They are inexpensive, comfortable and even convertible. By that I mean, if you carry more than 1 type of handgun you dont have to buy a different holster. Just buy a shell. I did. In the winter or durin cooler weather I carry my 1911 cause its easier to coverup. Summertime, warmer weather I carry my SCCY 9mm. Real easy change over from 1 to another. Why dont I just carry 1 all the time? Well. I really prefer my 1911. But I'm a little guy, light weight, small frame person. Most anything I carry is kinda obvious. Well anyway. Heres the website. Check'm out. http://aliengearholsters.com/index.php/ Lifetime warranty cant be beat. Well built. I just really like'm and wanted to pass it on. |

They look pretty neat but I can't find if they offer a LH version.

Yup they do have them to. Once you find the model you want, click on it to pull it up and the very last selection you make on preferences is either Right or Left Handed. Take a look. |

thanks for the site. Interesting. I'm always looking for a good concealable holster. I can't conceal any 1911 nor even a medium frame 9mm...they show and I may as well carry open for bad guys. The one on your site has too many layers. Over the years I've found a single layer of thin high grade leatherin an inside the belt is the most concealable for me. see http://www.buyholsters.com/vega-holsters-ib3 My conceal carry pistols are either j-frame S&W or small autos, like my 1903 Colt pocket pistol. After some extensive hand surgery, I carried a Berreta 22 and 25 autos, nice carry, but just a little light for me a 32 auto is as light as I want for serious CC. 40/45 are nice military open carry in flap holsters, but too uncomfortable in my gut, and way to visible for CC on my full figure frame! LOL
I know that IBD likes a Colt single action 45 with 7.5 inch barrels and cross draw for his conceal carry...but his personal frame hides a lot
