I got 230# of packaged meat off that cow. We have Been eating our way thru it, as I expect a deer or two want in the freeze.

Finished the bear a week before the trip.

The elk is really very good, mild smooth textured. Meat load last night. Steaks tonight. Made 45# of sausage, might be a lot.

BEAR;

Congratulations! I hope I can do as well this year, but
it's not lookin' good. Nobody to hunt with, and I'm not
going out after elk alone. That's a real good way to get
in serious trouble.

Weidman's Heil, Bear!

She is a beauty, for sure, and wonderful eating.

CB, if you are hunting in a "general" area, I might have a couple of very trusted and trustworthy hunting partners for you....

Sounds like shrinking the pic was almost as hard as the hunt? How did
you do it?
