Local preacher has a slug gun that makes a ragged hole at 150 yds. But thats not in your tool cabinet at the moment. I'ld go bigger and slower for whitetails you don't wanna chase. That 9.3 will flatten them with great effect and do less bloodshot then any of the smaller faster projectiles. The .260 you have is more then adequate to kill one at all reasonable ranges, but you will have the issue of resilient animals that like to run after being hit well. The 7 with a light hot load drops them flat and hits like Thor. 110-120 grain HP's, easy to get them screamin! There is the side effect of losing half the animal from the destruction though....Go with the big hammer, you like that beast anyway.
...oh yeah! thats gonna hurt!
