Had a Bushnell Trophy XL 3-9x40 mil-dot take a crap on me. Some of
you may have seen it at the last MYGAWDS I was at? Hadn't shot the
gun in awhile and when I did it was waaay off. Like 3' at 30 yards. Took
the cap off and got about 2-3 clicks before it got tight. Pulled out the
pliers and got another click before wrecking the adjusting knob.
Bushnell like Burris switched to lifetime warranty not to long ago. I
thought I'd give it a try. About three weeks later I get notification of an
incoming package. A new scope arrived. The old one was about six
years old around $150 retail. Took the new one out and the dang thing
had a duplex. Called them up and explained I sent them a mil-dot and
that I appreciate the new scope but I have no use for it. They were
sorry for the mixup and sent me a UPS label and the brown truck
picked it back up the next day and about four days later the new mil-dot
scope showed up.
Burris replaced a Firedot for me last year. Nobody is going to mistake
those companies products with Leupold's but they seem to have as
good a warranty?

DD;

That's good to hear. What was the new mil-dot scope by
model designation? I'm in the market & with their new
warranty I would absolutely consider their products. The
mil-dot is mandatory.

Leopold's lifetime warranty Is legendary for sure.
I'm glad the hear Bushnell is holding true to there new claim.
A buddy had an issue with an upper end Bush' range finder and they basically told him to pi$$ up a rope. But that was about 5 years ago.
I have an old pair of Bushnell Binoculars I have had for 30 years. Very good set that I leave in the boat now.
There rugged as heck they have been over board dropped off the trailer dredged through the mud and as clear as the day the boy scraped together $35 bucks on his paper route and got them for me.

The new one is a 3-9x40 matte Trophy mfg# 753945

A few months ago I bought a referbished VX1 3-9x40 on a MidwayUSA
flash deal for $99 shipped. The gun its going on isn't finished yet so I
took the Lupy and the Bushy out and looked through them side-by-side.
I have to say was taken off guard. The Bushnell is noticeably brighter. I
was looking at a snow filled fencline about 600 yards away with the sun
at a pretty low angle. The clarity is simular but not the brightness. I also
noticed while handling them that the Bushy feels a lot heavier. I
weighed them on a kitchen scale and it showed 3oz more than the
Lupy. That's all I can tell about it so far.

I like Bushnell, but I had a top of line scope and the
crosshair broke.

No warranty at all. sucks.

information">http://bushnell.com/global/customer-service/war ranty-
information

I see my link isn't perfect. From their homepage click customer service
support then warraty information. They have a list of products covered.

Check to see if your model is on the list. Not all are retroactive.
