I ordered a .210 TT lead shot mold from martysarms.
I have 200 pounds of lead ingots of lead from cast bullets harvested from a police indoor pistol range.
I'm guessing they're some kind of factory ( mixed) bullets.
Is there going to be anything I'll need to do to cast the shot? Like, add something?
It is a two-sided 24 place mold.
Can I or should I water quench the shot?
I'll be using the shot for predator shotshells.
Any thoughts?

Cast bullets as aa source means the lead will be alloyed and harder than pure lead.  I'd not water squelch.

If you are not an experienced caster...take caustion.  Lead fumes are toxic.  bad.

do it outside or in heavily ventilated area.

I cast round balls for muzzle loaders.  Same as yours only bigger, .438, .490, .58.

I bought a custom Lyman mold because the round balls were not round.  Yu can chech how round your shot is by rolling it on a piece of plate glass.  I returned my first mold (LEE) as it was worthless, balls rolled like they were in a pin-ball machine.

I know there will be a lot of trimming and some cast marks.
I have read if you put them in a rock tumbler with some graphite for 10/12 hours, they will round out nicely.
I did stained glass work for years and are aware of the lead dangers.
You think the "Lead" will be hard as it is and not need hardening?
It will be slow for sure It takes about 47 pellets per shell.
That is 48 castings for one box of shells.
But at $40 plus freight per 8 pounds IF you could find any it will be worth it good thing the lead and lead pot where free.

Like I said, I cast for ML.  I cast minnie balls, must be pure lead.  and round balls, harder the better.

Financially, it isn't worth my time.  (as I get older my time value increases.  But as I get older, not sure what to do with my time!!!   LOL

Lots of folks are using used shot.  My club got $65,000 for folks to come in and 'reclaim' years of trap and field use.  we paved a 2 mile drive way with the $$.

People that use reclaimed shot (not round)  tell me great.  most are skeet shooters, where wide patterns help.  some trap guys also use the reclaimed stuff.

For game loads, I don't use that many rounds, usually wait for birds to get into 'gimme range'.  so I don't shoot many rounds.

Got to laugh, Every year my son and neuphew buy the LATEST turkey loads for spring turkey, $$$.  we are over run with turkey.

But, as youngens, they want the latest/best/supreme.  these come in 5 or 10 round boxes.  So I get there last year loads.  I only use one shell a year, so I'm good for the rest of my life!  Without these freebies, I use $5 a box filed loads #6.

How about $9 a shot?

IF you can find it and then there is freight on top of that.

ShockedShockedShockedShockedShockedShocked

Lead is not as good as heavy shot but a cost of about $.50 a shot I'll just shoot two.
With more than a $1 worth of shot in one of my coyote shells if I buy lead T T ( if you can find it) I'll be saving about $.65 per hour wages to make my own. Dang I work cheep.Ouch
