day two still in transit. 1020 miles and 6 martinis, in Bangor
Maine. two lobster dinners, would make MYGAWDS group proud.

Another 200 miles tomorrow to lodge then 6 days hunting.

Cost = flying my wife to Bar Harbor Maine in 10 days for 3
weeks touring Maine coast...worth every penny.

hopefully will post pic of bear or at least woods shots.

Dear Mr. BEAR;

It is the opinion of social media in America today, that
iff'n you ain't successful on this-here trip, after that
kinda up-front costs, that your nickname, handle, whatever,
will be changed to: skunked.

I never measure the satisfaction by the game I shoot.

I enjoin the one day I shot yellow bellied Marmot! satisfying

Yes, I have to factor my wife's trip into my cost...but
marriage is not an inexpensive proposition!

3 lobster dinners now.

Got blackie. One shot with CZ 9.3, double lung with part of
heart and a nip on the shoulder. about 75 yards for shot.
he went 40 yards at a medium walk and fell stone dead...no
blood/bone frags/ nor fur at shot site.

pics will follow.

limited internet connection, no cell phone. Fishing for
salmon this afternoon. food is great but too many steaks!

This bear is exhausted ready for hibernation. Vodka has run
out! Got Explorer stuck in mud ditch. Gunning, steering
while electronic shifting into 4wd...and out the old girl
popped.

life is good.

ps CB you are on your own for culling BSB applicants. this
place is 1 hour ahead...makes for strange sun rise/set
timings.

regarrds to all...back to the fishing.
